Day 11 - Cleaning Out our Packs

Today we started late, and worked minimally. In between written assignments, personal lives, and the soreness still in our legs, we didn’t have much energy to do much other than go through our personal packs and work through whatever gear we have in there. 

There was the obvious throwing away of trash, sorting gear into piles of whom they belong to (Rosanna, Health Centre, personal, friends, etc..), and doing dishes. My favourite part was getting all of my freshly washed laundry back and getting to put it all back where it belongs :) 

We’re all really happy with how our trip went, and know what gear we definitely want for next time (and what we also don’t want). Some favourite gear that we brought with us was Libby’s jet boil, which we all loved (it doesn’t even need a lighter!!), the filtration system (if we bring the right dromedaries next time), and the second skin for our hotspots that worked shockingly well. Tomorrow is our last day of senior project, which is both exciting and bittersweet to me. Tomorrow we’ll clean some of the gear we just set aside today, and put away the rest.
