Total Daily Hours: 3.30hrs

Total Hours: 8.30hrs

Today I finished my last high school exam! With the weight of classes off my shoulders, I met Libby and Kailee at lunch, where we ate with Rosanna to talk over our current plan for the trip. Unfortunately, the original route that we had planned in the White Mountains got snowed in by several feet :/ , so we have to set some time aside this week (probably Thursday), when we will rewrite our plan, including campsites and taking the time to find the appropriate maps to bring with us.

After our meeting with Rosanna, we spent our afternoon over in Manchester at Trader Joes/ Whole Foods/ Sierra/ Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS), specifically there to look for (and found):

    - a fuel canister that fits with Libby's jet boil

    - vegetarian, non-perishable protein supplement (we found fake meat pea protein & shelf-stable tofu!)

    - hiking pants for Libby

    - water filtration kit

    - first aid basics

Us at the mall with EMS:

Our plan with our first aid kit is to expand upon it, mostly focusing on blister care and temporary splints for things like sprained wrists and ankles. Tomorrow, we plan to test our whisper light stove and Libby's jet boil, making any minor fixes or adjustments as needed. In addition to that, we'll start to gather and divide the group gear and make a list of additional things we need to get (ie. bear hang), before Kailee and I started to divide and pack our food by meal - Libby will be leaving tomorrow to attend her brother's graduation, so Kailee and I will make sure all of our group gear is as prepared as possible on her arrival back in NH on the 15th. (We leave on our hike on the 16th!!)

Me knocked out on the way back from Manchester and us testing our new water filtration system:
